Luxury over sport any day.
I finally made one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever had to make. A career change.
About a month ago I accepted a position with Verizon. I am very thankful for the experience AT&T gave me, but it was time to move on. I feel too much personal shit in my life happened over the period of time I was there that caused me to lose focus. My interview process with Verizon wasn’t even a competition. I was already in the door because of Leann and Amanda, so I’ll I had to do is show my interest.
I had a lot of learning experiences with AT&T. I should have never transferred back to TN when I was at AT&T. They promised me a promotion after being out there a year with good performance. But I let dumb personal shit side track me on my career. I felt that too much went on in my personal life during my time at AT&T that effected the way I did things, etc.
A few years ago I would have NEVER believe I would be in the position that I’m in now. Never would I believe that I’d be 23 years old driving a brand new Lexus, have a good job making really good money, be in amazing physical shape, and have a new group of friends that push me to go further and succeed in my life.
So. I’m going to consider this a fresh start. I’m in a much, much, MUCH better place now in my life. I made damn good money at AT&T. I’ll make damn good money at Verizon.
Thursday I weighed in at 235 lbs! Freaking so happy. 15 lbs more to go till I reach my 250 lb goal. I thank god for Amanda and Sergio and their fitness tips/advice, I would never be where I am without them. The last 7 months I figured out what works for me and how I can achieve my goal. Its not easy, its not cheap. You get sick of eating, and the sight of food makes you want to vomit.  But you keep going. Water is your best friend.
Never have I been this size in my life. When I was 19 years old, I was 180 lbs. I have gained a solid 55 pounds. I’m dreading cutting season, but it is just around the corner. However, I still have work to do.Â

Wow it’s hard to believe that it has been over 5 months since my last post…Guess that is what happens when you are busy. Well I decided to write a few things since I’m bored…
Everything is going pretty well. Murphy is still good. He’s an amazing dog. Everyone that comes in contact with him loves him. He is incredibly smart and it has taken little effort to train him. We got a second dog, Apollo. He is a german shepherd. Very scary looking(which is what we wanted). He is about 6 months old now and almost through the puppy stage(which is quite difficult at times with shepherds). He is a good dog though. Training is going very well for him too.
In less than 2 months it will be the first time I have ever fully completed the terms of a lease. It is amazing that it has been almost 1 year that I have lived here. We are most likely going to find a house to live in until she gets transfer approval. We both want to get out of here. We both agreed that we have lived here long enough and are ready for a change.
My workouts have significantly changed and I constantly keep getting complements on how much I’ve physically changed by people I haven’t seen in awhile. Our diet is still going pretty well. The first 2 months I was good. But now….I am tired of sweet potatoes, chicken and green beans/romaine lettuce. However, I’m sticking to it. I look forward to my protein shakes more than my actual meals. But that’s the way it is. I have so many people helping me. Now that Amanda is a NPC pro competitor, my hookups are insane. I am so thankful for the people I have come in contact with. Â I have had the opportunity to work out with IFBB pros(any question I have, Dallas McCarver has the answer) and physique professionals that have helped me create the ultimate workout routine and diet that works for me. FRIENDS DON’T LET FRIENDS SKIP LEG DAY!
I spent two weekends in a row in Nashville, and that was really fun. I never really spent time up there. I always went there to just go to the airport or for a work meeting. We got to go to this doctors mansion in Green Hills for a halloween party, and that was fun as hell. The house was HUGE–over 8000 sq. feet. Nashville is pretty cool though and we all had a really good time both weekends. Next stop, SAN DIEGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love that city more than anything. It’s gotten to the point that I cannot wait to take my trips out there. Â The people I have met out there are amazing. Will I move back? That is something I am actually going to think long and hard about. I have people I used to work with offer me jobs already. So it is tempting, however I am going to fully think things through. I’d definitely want to get my own place though. The good news is I have enough money for a down payment on a condo that I could have to myself. Only time will tell what will happen…
Well today I FINALLY sold my old engagement ring. That thing has been sitting on the counter for months and months now collecting dust so I said, hell with it; might as well get some cash for it. I figure it’s kind of bad to give it to the next girl anyways. I took a loss on it, but oh well, thats the nature of the jewelry business. Anyways that made me happy.
I broke my phone last weekend in Nashville. DAMN IT! It is the first time I have broken a phone of mine EVER. I was sooooo pissed. Good news is I am eligible for upgrade. AND my American Express Platinum is covering the damage!
I’m going to try and keep up with this blog a little more…but that may or may not happen. I do need to delete a bunch of shit though.
Anyways…enough for now… Time for calculus and physics homework… Yay.
